1. What this policy covers

“Trackers” means cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, that store or read information on your device. This policy explains which ones StillToReel uses. How we handle personal data in general is described in the Privacy policy.

2. Strictly necessary (always on)

access-token (cookie, first party, httpOnly, secure): keeps you signed in. Valid for 30 days.

refresh-token (cookie, first party, httpOnly, secure): renews your session without asking you to sign in again. Valid for 30 days, or up to 365 days if you choose to stay signed in.

stilltoreel:analytics-consent (local storage): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Kept until you clear your browser data or change your choice.

reels-view-mode, stilltoreel-guest-name and the drafts of the free tools, such as stilltoreel-pending-storyboard (local storage): remember interface preferences, the name you last used to comment on a public link, and unsaved work from the free tools. They stay on your device and are not sent to analytics.

These do not need consent because the Service cannot work without them or because you asked for the feature. You can delete them in your browser settings, but you may be signed out and lose local drafts.

3. Analytics (only if you accept)

Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, is loaded only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. It sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga (for example _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID), which last up to 2 years, and receives your IP address, pages viewed, device and browser information. We use the result to see which pages and tools are useful. Google may process this data in the United States.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not allow Google to use this data for its own advertising purposes. [CONFIRM GOOGLE ANALYTICS DATA-SHARING SETTINGS (GOOGLE SIGNALS, ADVERTISING FEATURES) ARE OFF.]

4. Third-party content

Sign-in with Google is provided by Google and loads Google scripts only when you choose it. [LIST ANY OTHER EMBEDDED THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, E.G. FONTS OR VIDEO, OR REMOVE THIS SECTION.]

5. How to change your choice

Open “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and accept or reject analytics at any time. If you withdraw consent after accepting, the page reloads and analytics stops. Rejecting or withdrawing does not change how the site works.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Browsers and some extensions let you send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal; because analytics is off until you opt in, no tracking happens without your action.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can use Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Contact

Questions about cookies: support@stilltoreel.com. We update this page when we add or remove trackers, and we ask for your consent again if the change requires it.
